Truly one of my favorite podcasts! As a horror fan, I love listening to Halle ruin my favorite movies for Alison. My boyfriend and I live a little over an hour away, and this podcast makes the weekly trips fly by because it’s so entertaining. The format is fun, Halle’s storytelling is great, and Alison’s reactions are hysterically funny. Great chemistry between them both, and it’s always a good time.

These lovely ladies are hilarious and insightful, Halle does a great job as a story teller and Allison gives us all the best reactions. Reminds me of the early days of My Favorite Murder. Obsessed.

The podcasting world is full of a lot of misses but this show has that perfect blend of humor and story. The hosts are genuine and give the vibe of hanging out and just talking about a movie one of them has seen. Such a comfort listen.

A friend recommended this podcast to me a couple of months ago and I’ve listened to little else since then. Come for the insightful recaps (which often do a better job of helping the movie get where it’s going than the actual movie does), stay for the whip-smart snacky little jokes Halle and Alison make along the way. This podcast is a great way to “rewatch” a movie you’ve seen or to “watch” one you haven’t. Long time listener, first time commenting. Love the show, but please go back to hardcore horror ASAP… this last month was a bit meh. Michael Haneke is an amazing director, but his movies don’t fit with the genre.
