I’ve been listening to video game podcasts since they were first listenable on the original iPod. Most have come & gone — many of which have laid the foundation for those standing tall today. But Kahlief’s show has always felt relevant, real, and daring. I thought I understood the industry, and yet I still learn so much about it from Spawn On Me because of the perspectives Kahlief brings to the table. His down to earth, challenging yet celebratory tone is what this beloved & loaded space needs more of, and every episode offers something worth tuning in for. Spend some quality time in Brookago. One of the best gaming podcasts by far! Intelligent discussions on the most important gaming topics that is thought provoking and so well put together.
One of the most influential and informative gaming podcasts out there. Doing work like nobody else in the business to highlight and represent those that don’t get enough industry spotlight. Kahlief is simply one of the best in the industry.
I just started listening to Spawn on Me earlier this year. It's easily my new favorite podcast of 2020. Kahlief is knowledgeable about games but puts it thrkufbt the lens of being black. This podcast isn't overly political. It's raw and it's real. He's unapologetically a black gamer and that's what makes this podcast great
Used to really like this show and have listened to close to 100 episodes. However, recently it has become more about politics and bringing things like Elon Musk into the conversation for no reason whatsoever than about video games and the gaming industry. I tried to push through and keep listening but I just can’t anymore. Maybe it’s time to hang it up, you guys clearly lost the memo somewhere.
