Outstanding narrative non-fiction podcast. The host’s voice is soothing and there are no jarring ads. I always learn something even about subjects I thought I knew.

I can’t think of a podcast that strikes as many wonderful notes as this one does nearly every episode. From the topics, research, narration, production, guest interviews… it goes on. I cherish this show for long drives and slow afternoons.

This is one of my favorite podcasts now! I love the broad range of topics, the experts weighing in, the story telling, and hints of theatrics to add to the ambiance. Thank you for this! My history nerd heart is so happy

This podcast is so well done that I listen to most episodes multiple times. The podcaster has a great voice and his interviews are always on point with great content. I listen to about a dozen history podcasts and this is by far the best.
