Hidden History with Dr. Harini Bhat

by Rewind Studios

Dr. Harini Bhat, a clinical pharmacist and science storyteller, unravels real historical events that still defy explanation: mass hysterias, medical oddities, vanished civilizations, and strange signals that echo across centuries. Hidden History treats these as incomplete case files, not myths; shaped by the limits of knowledge and record-keeping, and revealing what the unknown says about human experience. Hidden History is a Rewind Original, powered by PAVE Studios. Listen on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, or watch on YouTube @hiddenhistorypod. Follow @RewindStudios on Instagram.

Absolutely captivating her-subjects are interesting and the way that she’s delivers just wow I’m actually retaining the information. I wish my high school teachers were more like her. I would’ve remembered more. You get sucked into the story and before you realize it you learn something. absolutely wonderful. Keep it up.

I always feel like I learn something new on this podcast. It is very thought-provoking and makes my long commute much more enjoyable!

Catmama17 · Aug 2026

I really want to enjoy this podcast but the host swallows her words so often it’s difficult to listen. Her verbal pacing is too fast and she forgets to breathe which results in a sort of slur of words or mumbling. Slowing down, articulation and steady pacing would greatly improve the listening experience.

An absolutely terrible presentation which omitted many facts and promoted old data which has since been shown was flawed. She doesn’t even mention the strongest points of authenticity. As usual, another biased look at the Shroud of Turin, silently omitting the many newer findings which has scientists accurately dating it to the 1st century. Additionally, she knows nothing of how the Vatican operates, or anything about their ordinary process involved in authenticating a relic or miracle. This process typically takes decades for them to decide on, but if credible, until that time comes they’ll call it worthy of veneration. Again, she misinterprets the entire meaning the Vatican has placed on it, and omitted the fact that tests have since proven the 1988 carbon dating was from a piece of the repairs done by nuns in the 1400’s. The samples taken later after 2000, were taken from the main body of the fabric and all tested to the 1st century. And there’s much more than that. The fiber itself and the stitchings, all proven 1st century. Either terribly careless research done or a biased point of view from the start. 2 bad episodes in a row is enough for me to not waste any more time here. Because there’s nothing worse than inaccurate or omitted information.
