I listened to one season of this podcast, 1942, as I’m not interested in the other years featured. I learned some interesting things from the 1942 series, so thanks to everyone for that. My favorite episode was the one about radio propaganda/disinformation. Fascinating. If you ever do any year from the 1930s or 1940-45, I’ll be back. My feeling is that you want to cover topics where you can interview people who lived it, and that’s less likely the farther back we go. Still I live in hope.

I’m not one to leave reviews, but I have thoroughly enjoyed the entire “One Year” series, I am so disappointed to hear that there won’t be more episodes, please reconsider renewing this entertaining and educational podcast, I look forward to each episode, I hope there will be more in the future. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who hasn’t already listened it.

Slate please reconsider halting production! Josh, Evan and team have done a masterful job of uncovering quirky, personal stories that bring to life important moments in history through a combination of incredible storytelling, touching interviews and rare, archival footage. I’ve learned so much listening and this is definitely my most shared podcast with friends and family. Please invest in this outstanding journalism and more years of “One Year”!

This is the first time I’ve left a podcast review, but wanted to add my voice to the others expressing hope that production picks back up! Love listening to One Year, it’s full of stories I probably would never have learned about otherwise and I love diving into the world of a smaller scale, defined story than in so many other podcasts. Will keep re-listening to some of my favorite episodes, but hope we get some more new ones some day, too.
