I’ve watched The Office since the beginning when it first came out and I’ve been hooked ever since. The behind-the-scenes and little tidbits just add to the charm of the show. Jenna and Angela are my new besties (I wish) and have gotten me through some of my darkest and hardest days. One of my top two favorite podcasts that I listen to over and over, just like I watch the show. The best!
Lady! These ladies got me into podcasts back when they launched in 2019. I could listen to them talk about anything! (Although it is quite strange hearing Angela be the opposite of her character in real life lol) They are genuine, honest, funny, and complement each other as hosts. As a massive fan of the Office, this podcast gave me an entirety different insight and perspective behind the making of a show (so much goes into it- I had no idea!) I hope they never ever stop making episodes because I honestly don’t know what I would do. Boom. Reviewed.
I am continually blown away by the amount of care and thought put into this pod cast. Angela and Jenna’s chemistry is unmatched. Interviews are thoughtful and insightful and recap episodes are funny and include all the very interesting behind the scenes info. Thank you so much to these women for being vulnerable and always a source of light and positivity while also being so realistic about life’s hardships.
I would’ve never thought to ask these ladies for a breakdown of the infamous Star Wars Holiday Special but WOW it is exactly what I needed! Thank you for continuing to discuss The Office and every other random thing along the way!
They're very pleasant people and when they're on topic the show is great. I get that ads are a necessary evil but there are just so many ad breaks mixed throughout and a lot of time very little payoff. It would be tolerable if they stayed on topic but they also wander a lot and you get ads on the filler bits too that have nothing to do with the actual TV show so the amount of ads you're being served becomes very front and center and it takes me out of it.
I used to look forward to Wednesday episodes and would listen to them first thing in the morning. At this point, I sometimes forget there is a new episode for a week or two and am no longer surprised when I go to see what I’ve missed just to find that it’s a month of “look backs” and “interviews”. I listened to the first couple of buffer episodes but don’t want to waste my time on repeat content. It seems that it’s turning off a lot of fans, and I’m annoyed to the point that I don’t want to listen to anything else they do in the future. It’s a weekly show and they just got lazy with their attempt to drag it out. Plenty of other podcasters take holidays and vacations but they pre-record.
