I can’t wait to listen to more of this podcast on my drive to and from work! I came across the episode where Jeri and Danielle talk about bullying amongst nurses. The topics that they discussed were not only relatable, but insightful and even backed up by some wild statistics. It’s so important to talk about these tough topics so that a change can be made in nursing culture, so thank you guys for doing so! Looking forward to hearing more nursing related topics from nurse.org!
I always appreciate when Nurse Leah addresses such a sensitive topic that negatively impacts so many individuals. The SOAR program, led by Kalen, is fantastic, and I hope to see more initiatives like this to support those affected. It’s concerning that a worker may have to call in sick because their abuser won't allow them to leave, which can lead to difficulties at work and potentially result in losing their job. I have witnessed this happen firsthand, and it leaves me wondering, "Whatever happened to her?" Thank you again for sharing your wisdom and expertise.
I just listen to S2 E22 on emotional intelligence with Ama Mathewos and I have to say it’s a game changer. This episode gave me so many tools on how to use EI to better manage my team and my relationship with other leaders. I learned so many things that I hadn’t considered like how EI impacts effective communication, collaboration and conflict resolution. Great episode!
Love this podcast, especially the episode with Jeri Ford in regards to relationships and dating as a nurse. A lot of it was insightful and good to know moving forward with relationships and how our career as nurses truly affect them but how we can turn it into good! Highly recommend this podcast episode!
