The Moms Talk Autism Podcast is for parents raising children with special needs. We are four moms, all with autistic children and other neurodivergence. Teaching a special needs child to navigate the world around them comes with challenges and struggles. We want to talk about those challenges openly with you and others. We discuss grief, school, family balance, siblings, therapies, social conversations, behaviors, delays, diagnosis advocation, and marriage. We do not hold degrees in medicine or neuroscience, nor are we special education teachers, but we are experts in raising our kids and figuring out everything as we go. Think of this podcast as a coffee shop chat with your closest girlfriends. We want to talk, raise awareness, and help each other thrive with our neurodivergent families in a neurotypical world. I am so thankful I found this podcast. Parenting a child with autism can be a very lonely road; but these ladies make me feel less alone and seen. This podcast has such a great mix of laughter, hope, honesty and wisdom. Take a listen you won’t regret it.
I absolutely love the Moms Talk Autism Podcast! It’s like sitting down with a group of friends, who truly get it. The hosts brings such authenticity, compassion, and humor to every episode, allowing autism parents to always walk away feeling encouraged and less alone- a much needed support! Whether they are sharing personal stories, interviewing guests, or diving into tough topics, their love for their children and their fierce advocacy really shines through. This podcast has become a go-to for me for perspective, support, or even just a much needed good laugh, which is sometimes harder to come by on the tougher days. Highly recommend for any parent or caregiver on the office and journey!
This podcast has been a saving grace. I have been feeling misunderstood , but being a mom of an autism son and knowing someone is experiencing some of the same experiences is relief for me
I love how the hosts make you feel like you’re just listening in on a conversation without them even knowing. Real situations and feelings we can all relate to and learn from.
