I’m so delighted to see this podcast back in my Up Next selection. Highly recommend to give it a listen if you have any little ones in your life. Even teens! I find the information and research he provides to be really digestible and so helpful when navigating care-giving for a 5 year old and as a therapist to adolescents. Very refreshing content.
Mr. Chazz creates much-needed discussion with and open mind and heart, meeting parents where they are at and nurturing growth.
I came across a video on my IG feed with Mr. Chazz breaking down a parenting moment and offering constructive criticism for the ways the mom could’ve made better choices while also praising what the mom excelled at. This is what we need more of. Rather than the hateful judgment or the silence of others when observing other parents’ styles they know are proven to be ineffective or even damaging. We millennials desperately need this education, but there are very few knowledgeable people willing to provide it in such a compassionate, understanding and nonjudgmental way as to make it digestible for those that need to really hear it. That video impacted me so much that I actively sought out this podcast on the off chance he had one. I’m glad I found it too. Thank you, Mr. Chazz! I’m confident you’ve made, and will continue to make, a lasting impact on the world.
Mr. Chazz thank you for the grace and compassion for all humans for the younger to the older. The sheer variety of guests and their passion is evident with such a warm, engaging, and gracious host. This is really helping me to stop and think and learn to benefit myself and our family.
While so much of this work is important and impactful, I have concerns for Mr Chazz’s authenticity and integrity. He recently posted a video of a child without consent- parents were not made aware that he had access to their children at daycare, let alone that he was filming their interactions. What could have been a simple oversight became a red flag when he was asked by the daycare administrator to remove the video. He did, but left it up elsewhere despite being informed of the harm it was causing the family of the child. He has continued to delete comments by family members asking him to remove it or consider other ways of making his point, or AT LEAST not posting children’s faces (very least you can do, still problematic). If Mr Chazz knows these videos are causing harm to a child, why on earth would he leave them up? Requests to remove the post have been kind and supportive, but the response is a major red flag for me for anyone taking parenting advice from someone unable to receive or acknowledge feedback regarding a conflict
