What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

In this ambiguous time it's imperative that citizens maintain political awareness through recording, documenting, and noting all of the heinous acts being committed against Americans and against other citizens in the world by a convicted rapist who is currently sitting as a US President. The outcomes we are now suffering through as a people are not only unconstitutional, but are very obviously self serving, which is a disgusting display of a corrupt individual abusing a Presidential position. Liz' content is thoroughly researched and verified, and additionally, she holds a long tenure as a US Federal attorney as well as an exceptionally educated background in US law and government policy from Harvard Law school. If you don't know who to listen to regarding the current US political climate, she is a great place to start with digestible and reliable content.

I am so happy that we now get full episodes from Liz and all of the information she has to share with us. Her strength and courage in speaking out is very important. Being able to listen to a discussion about history, the law, politics, etc is so much more understandable with the guidance of everybody’s favorite lawyer! Thank you, Liz. Stay safe and keep fighting the good fight (as my dad would say!) I look forward to a new episode drops!

Liz Oyer was recommended to me as the rarest of jewels: the Instagram- friendly, talented attorney who can explain the workings of the Washington legal machine with clarity, fairness and honesty. This is a perfect forum for her considerable talents. As a retired civil litigator, I like to think I know a lot more about the DOJ than the average citizen but I know far less than I should. Ms. Oyer has already shared a great deal of cogent information through well-crafted questions and discussion with subject matter experts who explain our current situation without legalese or pomposity. This podcast is a blessing to those who want to better understand the triumphs and pitfalls of the people and institutions that comprise our legal system.

Great decision to begin this podcast with an explanation of the DOJ. And having rationale voices calmly explain complex ideas? Well, that’s just refreshing. Thank you for DOJ 101!
