What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I’m taking a Spanish class weekly online with a teacher in Guatemala and info Duolingo daily and these podcasts are my favorite part of my Spanish education! Enriching stories and that challenge my skills with just the right amount of context help from Martina Castro. I always look forward to listening!

MJ McGraw · Oct 2024

Listening to the podcast in Spanish is so helpful to improve my listening, grammar and language skills. The transcripts on the website really help me with the words my ears don’t pick up yet. Thanks!

eertelppa · Oct 2024

So fun as I learn more Spanish being able to better understand the stories. The stories are so good even my boyfriend who speaks Spanish deals with the slow speaking (to him) because of how good the stories are! Thank you so much. Never stop please.

Pradagtalie · Sep 2024

This podcast is great. I have really enjoyed all of the great stories. The language learning opportunity is great too. But, to hear the experiences of people that are seldom heard is the real highlight here. Learn from the language lessons but more importantly learn from the lives of others. One of my favorite podcasts!!

!BBB! · Feb 2024

The educational value for Spanish learning is very high. However, the editors and producers frequently romanticize left wing socialist ideology while speaking negatively about any conservative government. Clearly, the writers have an agenda which severely detracts from the mission of language learning.
