What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

I recently reread the Realm of the Elderlings for the first time in its entirety, and immediately wanted to start a closer reread with everything I know now still fresh in my mind. I’m only on episode 4, but this podcast already enhances my experience with each chapter and is everything I could ask for in a companion podcast. Luke and Emma discuss the chapters thoughtfully and are genuinely pleasant to listen to. I’m so grateful this podcast exists and am excited to listen to the next 200+ episodes!

I've wanted to start the Realm of the Elderlings series for awhile, but I've been spoiled with all of the great ASOIAF podcasts that explicate the books by chapter, so I keep rereading them. When I found this podcast, I immediately started Assassin's Apprentice and will read the rest of the series because of it. I love the hosts and the knowledge they bring to the books. Thank you, thank you, thank you and keep up the fab work!

Three Crazy Dogs · Oct 2021

Really enjoying the content and tone of the podcast Production quality is great, the hosts have a great banter and compliment each other well. The cadence of the hosts also works well for people like myself who enjoy listening at 2.5x speed or more. This is a welcome addition to any Realm of the Elderlings fans

I just did a reread of Assassins Apprentice so this podcast came at just the right time for me. I love their pacing and that’s it’s just two hosts. The chapter by chapter review reminds me just a little of Harry Potter and the Sacred Text. No one around me has read these books yet so this podcast is the outlet I needed for feeling like I have someone to talk to about how great these books are!
