After the first book, I sort of wrote this podcast off because I didn’t feel like they had anything insightful to say. But I’ve read some of the books they review and have gone back to listen to the episodes and it has gotten better! I will say that when all 4 of them are there, they hit a point where they’re all loudly talking over each other and it’s horrible for headphone users.

Love the girlies but I think their takes are kind of basic. They kind of just reiterate plot points and say it’s “interesting” over and over. I think they could really benefit bringing on someone a bit more literary? I love their book choices, but I wish there was a bit more substance to the conversations.
