Well-researched, objective, clear, interesting. Ben keeps his opinions to the end, which I really appreciate because it allows the audience to make up their own minds (to the extent that that’s possible!) about historical mysteries. He seems passionate about what he does, and that really shines through.

I know it’s odd considering the subject matter, but I find listening to this podcast the audio equivalent of a warm blanket. Each episode is very well researched and the script is entertaining and informative. The narrator has the most soothing voice. Have been listening for years but felt that I had to review as it continues to improve.

What a joy to listen to! Excellent storytelling, great voice, not as gross or overly disturbing as some supernatural podcast can be. Most episodes are nice to listen to while I care for my newborn.

This is one of my favorite podcasts of all time and any genre. It’s great to listen to for the first time then I also re-listen to my favorite episodes to go fall asleep because his voice is always calm and peaceful and the tone is perfect to listen to quietly will trying to sleep.
