A very deep dive into Civil War history. But it’s not dry it’s not boring and the couple that does the story telling are just so sweet. You know they do it as a labor of love you can tell that through their storytelling.
I thought I knew a lot about this war but this podcast covers the history so completely that I learn lots more every listening. I’m only on episode 63 but have been listening to multiple episodes daily. I hope to catch up in a couple of months.
This is a fantastic podcast! I highly recommend it. Rich and Tracy are very knowledgeable and make it very entertaining. I have learned so much about the history of my nation. Keep it up guys, can’t wait for each new episode.
I used to really enjoy this podcast, but ever since the Gettysburg and Vicksburg episodes, the pace has slowed to a crawl. There are months at a time spent on campaigns that had very little Influence on the outcome of the war (e.g., the campaigns in Florida and along the Red River). I mostly skip these and eagerly await the return to events that are of more than local interest.
