The defense would make that lead hold up. Kent State added a field goal to make it 24-20 and force Big Ben and the Red Hawks to need a touchdown on their final drive. The leader of that Kent State defense in 2001 was future Pittsburgh Steeler and Roethlisberger teammate James Harrison. Harrison on that day was a one-man wrecking crew, recording 12 tackles including five sacks and a forced fumble. The five sacks remain a single-game Kent State record. Harrison put his name atop the record book with sacks on the final two plays of the game to preserve the victory.

This is a very enjoyable podcast to listen to. It’s entertaining and insightful at the same time.
I particularly enjoyed the banter when BK was a guest.
Keep them coming!

Great insight from Ben regarding the Steelers and the NFL! I also really enjoy the natural conversation between Spence and Ben. Two buddies hanging out and having a couple beers. I look forward to each new episode and sometimes listen to them twice!

I've been listening for a while but I have to say I love the new "format" since "the break." I love listening to Big Ben give his break down and opinion on the Steelers' games but I also love the addition of Jarred and talking faith and family. I've heard about Big Ben's decision for Christ from Toby Mac's band and would love to hear it from Big Ben.

We enjoyed this podcast for the first 10 big name guest episodes. But now it’s just painful to listen to. Pace is soooovery slow, the beer tasting quite boring and lends nothing but wasted air time. And Ben’s umm and likes and monotone put us to sleep.
This could be such a better experience if 1) the energy level improved and 2) you drop the beer tasting…for goodness sake the show is called footballin so keep the main thing the main thing.
