I have been following Connor Rogers since his Bleacher Report days, and love listening to the banter between him and Matt Miller. The vibe that he and Trevor have going as a lot like that; they make it fun to listen and I like them both. They also both clearly know their stuff when it comes to scouting draft prospects. If I could give 4.5 I would, FOUR stars…I enjoy these guys and I’m nitpicking, but there are limitations… small but meaningful holes in their knowledge… While you could say that about anyone, I think they could reasonably fill those holes. While comparing them to someone like the venerable DJ may not be fair, I would take their mocks and team fit analysis more seriously if they showed more knowledge of specific team needs While I still think Trevor is a little too easy with saying “move him to guard” or “flip him from R to LT” (a fact which his PFF predecessors Sam and Steve showed evidence has been a very unreliable switch for most prospects), their O-line episode erased my doubts about their knowledge of OL technique. But I think there is room for growth in understanding a team’s “OL” or “WR” needs vs “Left Guard” or “a true X”…such as mocking KC Concepcion to a team that needs an X.

It’s a good draft podcast, they have good knowledge and bring good intel from their sources. The pod does feel like an echo chamber at times and their takes/player rankings being so similar makes it feel like they are afraid to differ from one another when they finally do disagree, they question themselves.

This is the best podcast ever created. Trevor and Connor are a perfect duo, and mix outstanding analysis with banter and inside jokes seamlessly. It’s like talking football with your boys on a weekly basis.

The hosts can be informative at times and offer good opinions. But too much of the dialogue is Trevor screeching OH! and AH! after anything anybody says. And the guest mock draft shows are very amateurish and difficult to listen to. The 4 or so hosts talking over each other and then dead air waiting to see if the PFF trade calculator works. Pass.
