Great podcast! I’ve been listening since 2017,2018, somewhere in that range. Definitely the longest run I’ve had listening to a podcast. Thank you for the past decade of this great service that you offer the world! I’m so glad that this pod has stood the test of time. Mailbag question for the offseason: could you explain the differences between how predictive metrics are calculated? As I fill out my bracket, I’ve been using KenPom because it’s the easiest, but I wonder - what does Torvik do differently? What about Evan Miya? Others? Do the weight rebounds differently when adjusting the efficiency? (For that matter, do OREBs & DREBs factor into adjusted efficiency??) Do they draw the line differently on blow outs or half court heaves? If you wanna make a longer discussion out of it, I’d be interested in the differences between résumé metrics too. I’m sure it’s all proprietary, but I’d be really interested to know what makes a team #39 in one metric but #64 in another. Thanks for all you do!

This podcast toes the line of both entertaining and informative - and, they cover all conferences. This is fairly unique in college sport podcast. Both hosts - Parish & Norlander - can be both (honest & entertaining) at any given time. Yes, it’s cbs sports but just like anything in podcast land, it’s content and very cool. 2026: Update. More years, more content, more fun. When they’re on, it’s the best. I think of GP on edibles and Norlander being scared of anything he says. For a podcast funded by a conglomerate, they get a bit of freedom. That’s neat GP.

I feel they talk about the same teams all the time. Their summer shoot around seems to be the same teams every year. It’s a good podcast but wish they talked more about other teams. I’m a seton hall fan and they never talked about Kadary Richmond. He goes to St John’s and now everyone is talking about him.
