Job well done on this episode! I get so annoyed when people give inaccurate information on this particular subject, you scored a 10/10 ⭐️ As far as classified government research at Danvers goes, you have peaked my interest. In the 40’s through the 50’s the government was testing out the effects of radioactive materials on children at the Fernald School. This was done in conjunction with MIT, Quaker Oats and the government. They did it under the guise of calling it the “Science Club”, how sick can you get. That lawsuit wasn’t settled until 1998. I worked with 3 former Fernald patients that were there around that time. All 3 developed the similar medical issues/symptoms in their 60’s! They were not linked to the “Science Club” lawsuit. I believe the testing went much deeper than just a select group of children. Hence I am absolutely positive that testing was done on the patients at Danvers State Hospital. Definitely makes me want to start digging😉
I came across your podcast oddly enough through Instagram. You have a quick blurb about a story you were doing regarding Nicholas Cage, and his curse… so I thought I’d check it out. Four straight episodes later I’m hooked! Can’t wait to hear everything and get all caught up. Thanks for staying “human” with the mishaps, humor, and just sticking to the stories!
Star is an enthusiastic open minded host. I love that she does the leg work of investigating the unexplainable and shares it with us.
I love the energy of this podcast. Star is a great storyteller! She has a terrific voice and makes you feel like you’re sitting together at a café while she regales you with creepy lore. 🖤
