Being born and raised in Alabama, curling and ice are more connected to drinking than sport. I did see ice one time as a kid on a trip to Colorado. But I loved this podcast. I think it is great for the sport for someone like me to understand the sport better, actually feel the competitiveness of it from those who compete in it , and get exposure to the tradition. I am a competitor, have been for my 60 years in this body. So the story was awesome to me. Count one more fan who will be watching my new favorite sport with a different view. Even outside of the Olympics!…..War Eagle!
Really cool podcast about curling and the scandal! Learned a good amount and will make watching the sport more interesting now. Thank you to the author and creator for this podcast!
This is a great break from the typical politics and news podcasts that I listen to. I didn’t know much about curling and it was an enthralling story!
Sometimes, you just need a break from the horrors of the world and this podcast does just that. It gave all of the context needed for someone who doesn’t follow curling and the story telling was great. Highly recommend a listen.
