The beloved Shondaland series, Bridgerton, is back for season 4! And this time, the official podcast is bigger and better. Presented by Netflix and Shondaland, Bridgerton: The Official Podcast is an enchanting six-episode deep dive into romances, scandals, and familial ties of Mayfair. Hosted by Alison Hammond (The Great British Baking Show, ITV's This Morning), each episode features a rotating guest list of Season 4 cast and creative voices, spotlighting the season’s new leads Luke Thompson (Benedict Bridgerton) and Yerin Ha (Sophie Baek), their central love story, and the evolving arcs of beloved returning characters.

I love all the ways that diversity is shown in Bridgerton. The 2nd podcast discussing Eloise & Benedict and possible LGBTQ connections was interesting. But please don't change their stories that drastically. Benedict’s Cinderella story was one of my favorites. Fans don’t want to lose that. I liked the introduction of the gay artist & his wife & love. It’s how things were handled at that time. Having accepted secondary characters with alternate lifestyles is great. But please don’t change the book character stories.
I am loving this opportunity to dive into the development of the show and the work that goes in at every level to crafting the world of Bridgerton and the characters who populate it. It’s so fun to get insight from the writers, production team, and actors, and their excitement and thoughtfulness in the discussions shows how much they deeply care about the stories they are telling. It feels like such a treat that Shondaland invests in sharing this kind of inside look with the fans. This podcast is a new discovery for me going into season three so it’s been fun to catch up, and I can’t wait to listen along to the new releases. Can’t wait for the new season! Everything we’ve seen so far has been incredible and I just adore Penelope and Colin! <3
What an absolute pleasure these podcasts are! The way Gabrielle engage each person you interview is so skilled. Your voice and exclamations are so genuine. Your questions go where I would (and some that would not occur to me)! The insight and depth of the cast and crew answers gave such dimension to the rich feast of ideas and emotions unleashed I get each time I watch the series. What a gift!
Love Gabrielle Collins and love that she catches all the same things that we do as the audience and asks those questions of the cast, crew, writers, and producers. Every Thursday I get so excited to hear from the makers of the show. Thank you so much for doing this podcast…honestly I could do with like 20 more episodes a season. Haha
I’m so sorry to say this but these Inside The Ton episodes are not good. The interviewer sounds very robotic and like she is pretending to be enthusiastic instead of actually being excited and I’m extremely disappointed with the 2 minutes or less interviews with the cast. I will say that Julia and Jess are totally delightful to listen to and they gave a lot of great insight into the upcoming season.
