Super high quality substantively and great discussions, but Rob’s habit of saying “like that” instead of just “like” or just “that” (e.g. “I felt like that you were not a traitor”) drives me a little crazy. Actually a lot crazy. But at least he doesn’t say “whenever” when he actually means “when” like sooooo many podcast hosts do 😣 Still one of the best Traitors podcasts though.
Pooya and his rotating cast of hosts are the go to for all things Traitors, both fun times and strategy deciphering!
I made my way here from the NewsAF podcast (which is also incredible) and wow have I been missing out. I watched all of Traitors US before discovering this pod but still ran back through all the pod episodes and loved all of it! Pooya is such a fun and energetic person and together with Rob you guys make co-hosts!! Thank you also Pooya for praising Traitors UK as much as you have because otherwise I wouldn’t have tried it and dare I say… it might be better than Traitors US!
I am a Pooya stan. His Traitors US and UK coverage is unmatched and I MUCH prefer when he is leading the conversations and interviews. His Traitors knowledge and entertaining takes are what I look forward to every week! Lately it feels like Rob is rushing the conversation and talking over others. He also puts Bravolebs down every chance he can, which isn’t cool. I wish they’d let Pooya take the lead on this podcast because it’s evident he genuinely enjoys giving us amazing coverage AND adequately discusses all the contestants on the show. He isn’t biased toward Survivor and Big Brother gamers only. 5 stars for Pooya!!!
Someone has to say it — Pooya’s excessive talking makes this podcast unbearable. It’s like 80% of the episode is him explaining things we just saw or heard, and then repeating comments his guests or co-podcasters made, and we barely hear them. I seriously started hitting skip when he was talking, but it’s minutes of him just going on and on. For someone who's never played, he sure has a lot to say, but it often comes off as surface-level or uninformed. Pooya's "hot takes" are just recycled opinions, adding little to the conversation. He also constantly makes references to other versions of Traitors, dropping spoilers all over the place, which is inconsiderate, lazy, and just plain stupid. The podcast is longer than the actual show. This could easily be condensed into under 30 minutes, but instead, it’s a lot of rambling and over-explaining. Most people who tune in are definitely multi-tasking or just using it as background noise while they do their chores. It should be a conversation, not a monologue. It’s become more frustrating than enjoyable, so I’m tapping out.
