What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Enjoying the pod a lot, really enjoy the format as well. Thoughtful interviews, relational. Also like that you bring up their backgrounds, which some of us might not be as familiar with. Curious if you’ll interview former players maybe even some coaches, current and past. Cheers, keep it up!

Hoopdude · Jul 2026

I enjoy Sue’s interviews. She addresses the game with deep knowledge. Equally as important, she gives us a glimpse into each player as an individual human being. My only observation is that they all cuss too much.

MrsMoore2024 · Mar 2026

Pros: Fantastic in depth conversation with WNBA players. I come away from each episode loving the featured player even more. Sue Bird was made for this format. Well done! Cons (an update!): guests are still great. But I am struggling to feel very excited about Sue’s pod given her drift toward pro-management positions and anti-labor politics around the WNBA CBA. Feels symptomatic of white privilege and class power that SB hasn’t fully interrogated.

re:be.k.a · Feb 2026

Sue Bird provides one of the most detailed and all encompassing perspective of Womens Basketball. Given that she has been a player and is now an owner and a fan. Her interviews are inquisitive, detailed, and insightful. We really gat to know the person not just the athlete.
