A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

Even if you’re not musical, I bet you’ll like this! Dan’s enthusiasm and love for the music is like an irresistible wave that will sweep you up and make you want to pick up the nearest instrument! I bet you’ll play some air guitar while you listen. These breakdowns have helped me understand what’s going on in some of the songs I’ve loved for decades and they’ve helped me appreciate songs I thought I didn’t like. My guitar is thrilled that I’ve started listening to this podcast because it’s back in my hands, getting some love. If you want guidance and feedback on your songs, I couldn’t imagine a better person to give it. Just awesome and inspiring podcast.

These breakdowns bring back that feeling of first listening to so many great songs and give me a whole new appreciation for stuff I’ve heard a hundred times.

Seen an instagram post from Dan that said check out my podcast on this songs break down. I thought to myself a music breakdown with no video to watch could never work. But I fired up one episode…… and now I’m listening to them all day at work. These are great and I’m glad I gave this a listen.

I love watching his clips and hearing his breakdowns. He puts as much passion into the explanation as he does to the music and singing. It’s just immersive. I always feel like I got a great lesson in music theory.
