Aeon Byte Gnostic Radio

by Aeon Byte Gnostic Radio, Bleav

Get the “Red Pill” that history books censored. Aeon Byte Gnostic Radio brings the forbidden wisdom of the Gnostics, Hermeticists, and Cathars out of the library and into the modern world. Join host Miguel Conner—the “Gonzo Gnostic”—as he connects the dots between ancient heresies and modern anxieties. Whether it’s the prophetic warnings of Philip K. Dick, the psychology of C.G. Jung, or the reality-hacking of The Matrix, this show reveals that the “Sci-Fi” world we live in was predicted 2,000 years ago. This is not a lecture; it’s a rescue mission for your mind. We tackle the Simulation, AI, UFOs, and the “Archons” controlling the culture, offering you the tools to find your own liberating Gnosis. Listen if you want to: · Understand the spiritual roots of the Simulation Theory. · Discover why “The God of this World” is not who you think he is. · Join a cocktail party conversation deeply weird, historically accurate, and absolutely necessary for the modern seeker. You deserve to be here, you Shining Crazy Diamond.

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

This show is for people who can love esoterica, not be stupid, and occupy the same space at the same time. If that sounds like you, you'll love this show. The host is smart, funny, and well versed in his subject matter. He is also a cinephile who watches movies through a gnostic lens, which makes his observations (about films, but also culture in general) entertaining and often fascinating. It's also maybe a bit of aquired taste. Maybe. It took more 2-3 shows before I realized that I dug it. But, maybe I'm just slow. I obviously kept coming back enough times to get hooked.

Stevie13x · May 2016

I look forward to every show. Miguel Connor cracks me up with his great intros, and his guests are frequently wonderful, or else wonderfully eccentric. Always a good listen!

Tod Benton Jones · Apr 2016

Take the red pill, slug some coffee, and let Miguel take you deeper down his own private rabbit hole. Aeon Byte generally has excellent guests, many of whom are relegated to the fringes of academia, and as a result do not get fair play in the media sphere. But Miguel continues to fight the good fight, defying the archons and revealing the Gnostic mysteries of the New Alexandria. (I even love the rambling monologues that muse on such profundities as the sublimity of Christina Ricci's forehead and Ron Perlman's exquisite jaw--interspersed with clips from "Blade Runner" and the "Matrix.") Sounds like a heretic's heaven.

Tau Nemo · Jan 2014

Thought provoking and entertaining! Will you agree with everything said; probably not...but so what! It's supposed to make you think, not make you fall in line. Miguel, keep up the great work!

SNEAKERKING510 · Dec 2013

I found this podcast while looking for information on Hermes Trismegistus, and listened to a few episodes, but quickly became turned off by the affected tone of voice of the narration. I found much less information on Hermes T and much more empty praise about HT spoken in an annoying "mind-bending" (?) voice. I was interested in the Elaine Pagels interview as well, but the host kept interrupting his interviewee, and not including her complete answers to his questions. The clips of the Pagels podcast towards the end seemed poorly edited in terms of the flow of ideas. Too bad...the material is interesting. The topics for discussion sound great. But I don't particularly like that the iTunes podcast seems to be the "trial version/demo version" and for the complete interview, the listener is expected to go to the external website. Okay, enough grousing on my part. It's good that the material is being discussed, but I can't get past the above roadblocks.
