I have listening to Laurie for years now, and if you come in and listen to just one episode expecting to get all the cosmic answers, sadly you don’t know about how this astrology stuff works. She gives a continuous stream of information as she pulls the charts and transits. Come in and sit a while. Grab your tea, coffee or matcha and get to understanding. It will take a while to get on track because she is literally teaching us how to human in today’s astrology climate. You WILL learn, it will not be much if you only listen to one or two episodes. And yes her Patreon is available l, but there is quite a bit available at the free and $5 level. I currently enjoy the $15 level because I have listened for a very long time and she is really the only astrologer I can get behind. Good stuff.
Laurie is calm presence that is honest and constructive in her readings. The podcast is relatable, teachable, and insightful. Years of experience, she’s not some influencer who is out to make a quick buck. Look forward to her podcast every week.
I enjoy the astrological insights very much, but Laurie Rivers uses her knowledge for much more. If you are curious about how to become your own best resource, she is an excellent guide to help you realize your own rich potential.
I realllyyy wanted to love this podcast, but every single time I listened, I felt scolded. Like she is always yelling at us to pull ourselves up by our bootstraps and stop complaining. Also very defensive. Lacks in actual astrology content. Overall not a great vibe, and sadly had to give up listening.
Honestly, I want to love it because some of the content is decent, but I end up tuning out half the time because episodes get so SHRILL at a certain point. Not everyone is coming to this podcast on spindly newborn calf legs, and lecturing grown adults who came to hear astrology, not to be low-key scolded as if the host is an emotionally abusive parent, is very grating. There are also often jarring edits/jumps that could be smoothed out. As far as the predictions go, they're overly broad--and the same thing episode to episode.
I tried to siphon out the wisdom from these long, sometimes nebulous episodes but the message is always the same: join the patreon to get the real content. The whole podcast is a teaser for the patreon with just enough info to give a vague idea then slam the door to non paying members. Honestly don’t understand the point.
