I’ve been a longtime listener and still return to older episodes because the conversations felt warm and organic, especially when Deb and Samantha shared personal insights and discoveries. That intimacy is what drew me in. Lately, some episodes feel more like summaries or book reports. While I appreciate the research, they feel flatter to me and I don’t find myself listening to those as much. I really value hearing how you are personally working with the material, your rituals, your lived experience, and your evolving perspective. The brain candy episodes in particular can feel like filler when topics are presented as recommendations but seem newly researched rather than personally integrated. It would feel more grounded if those were framed as explorations or curiosities. I’m sharing this because I care about the show and miss the depth and heart that made it so special.
