Wanted to leave a positive review after reading some complaints. I’m a newer fan that’s been tuning in every episode for the last year. The girls are very entertaining and make it feel like you’re friends catching up. The “chit chat” format is really nice as I’m a young mom working from home and don’t get to socialize much on week days. ALSO the themed seasonal episodes are especially funny and heartwarming — I’ve gotten many ideas from the submissions they read. Pregnancy/postpartum brain is so real that first year and I think everyone needs to cut them some slack while they adjust and rediscover themselves. You’re doing a great job ladies. Xoxo & happy holidays

I absolutely love What We Said and have been listening for years now. I normally don’t mind when podcasts stop for ad breaks. I completely understand that this is how they need to make their money. However, I’ve increasingly noticed that the ads on WWS are becoming excessive. There are way too many ad breaks, like in a recent episode there was an ad for over 5 MINUTES LONG, not even exaggerating. I seriously understand ads and sponsors but I can’t believe how much ads have taken over the episode and don’t understand the need for them to be that long. I also look forward to hearing the stories/advices but they always end up only reading 2 at the end and that’s it. Please listen to your listeners!! There are so many of us who love the pod but ads have gotten out of control.

Used to love this podcast but now the girls talk about life updates and complain for 90% of each episode. Suggest having a bonus episode each month filled with your life updates and chitchat. Bring back the good story episodes, advice, and guests. Love listening to these girls but it feels like they have gotten lazy.

The girls seemed to have really adjusted their podcasting format. Lots of long winded discussions that are so boring they should just be private. The “story” episodes have 2-4 stories read and the rest personal stories and conversation, not interesting at all. I used to religiously listen every week and loved the topics but I now have not listened in several weeks or I listen for a few minutes before turning it off. They don’t appear to be reading the opinions of several long time listeners that I’ve seen in the reviews lately. I agree with the other listeners that it has become completely out of touch and pretty much just boring. It almost seems like they just want to hear themselves talk and beat the same topics to death for way too long They have lost several long term listeners. My friend group and I have listened since all the way back in 2018 and we have all noticed a difference in the quality of the more recent episodes. we used to talk about it all the time! I grieve the loss of this pod :(
