The concept of Vinylly Retentive is, if we may be so bold, a fiendishly simple one. It's compelling people talking, and being interrogated, about the music that's mattered the most in their lives, and much more besides. Each episode, veteran music journalist and former Q Editor Paul Rees asks a well-known guest to nominate and expand upon the ten songs that have shaped their life. Their selections are presented in the form of a classic, old-school vinyl album - Side One, Side Two, an opening track, a closing song, and with all the good stuff in between. Accompanying the podcast and bounding into the now, their choices are also made available to stream and download as a bespoke Spotify playlist. Essentially, we're here for anyone who loves music. Listening to it, talking about it, sharing it, the whole magical caboodle. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
