I’ve been listening to this podcast incessantly for over a year now. Andy and Al are full of passion, enthusiasm, and dedication to not only this podcast, but the Legend of Zelda overall. I cannot get enough of listening to their episodes, so I’ve also become a paid subscriber on Patreon. They have helped me reignite my long lost interest in Zelda and continue to engage my interest week after week. I cannot recommend this podcast enough!

I’ve been listening to the podcast for about four and a 1/2 years now and absolutely love it. You guys are funny and informative, you go into so many in-depth discussions that I find interesting about certain topics with Zelda and the lead up to TOTK was really fun to experience with you all.
I will say, I unfortunately have to take a break from listening until some of the discourse around TOTK settles because it’s hard to listen to so much criticism and negativity about my favorite game. There’s certainly valid criticisms, but I just think the game is unfairly judged by a lot of the hardcore Zelda community including you guys. I was along for the ride with you guys with the hype and community discourse surrounding the game, so it’s a little disheartening to hear you guys not have the same reaction as me but that’s okay! That’s the beauty of art in a way. Anyways, opinions aside… you guys are still awesome and don’t let any negative reviews or opinions of the show get you down. You guys still make an amazing podcast despite difference of opinions. Keep going strong❤️

This podcast is my number favorite thing to listen to and pass time while doing chores. For some context, I have been a Zelda fan since I was 3 years old and lived in a very rural part of Wisconsin so when I got my fist phone, I have been listening every week nonstop because I had finally found my type of people. Andy and Alasyn are both extremely funny and exciting to listen to. If you like anything to do with the Zelda series, from the original to Echoes of Wisdom, I highly recommend this podcast to you.
Also watch them on Twitch every Sunday at 12:00 eastern time to join in on the fun!

After years away from playing video games, fearful that they were a waste of my time when I needed to focus on “real life”, I recently decided to keep up with Zelda news and started following the Zelda Cast. After a few weeks of listening, it got me excited to start playing again. Growing up with the linear Ocarina of Time, Majora’s Mask and Windwaker, I was terrified of trying the open world Breath of the Wild, but Andy and Alasyn’s love for BotW inspired me to give it a try, and it has opened up a new chapter in my appreciation for Zelda.
While I don’t have the same amount of time to devote to gaming as I did when I was younger, in the time I do make for it, I’m rediscovering why I fell in love with Zelda in the first place: In a world filled with so many shades of grey, there’s value and beauty in engaging in stories where the forces of light and goodness defeat true evil.
Zelda Cast, thank you for playing a huge role in renewing my love and appreciation for The Legend of Zelda.
Besides the emotional value, The Zelda Cast is an overall fantastic podcast: sound quality is wonderful, the topics are fun, and Andy and Alasyn have great hosting chemistry. You can tell that they genuinely enjoy making the show. Every week I’m the nerd who looks forward to Monday mornings when I can listen to the latest episode 😂 Wishing you guys continued success with The Zelda Cast 💚
