The TK Show: A Show about sports in the Bay Area

All of the TK shows are very well done. Thoughtful analysis and professional discussion of the Bay Area and LA sports. Not trying to be outrageous just for clicks.

TK and Barrows are fantastic. Not a baseball fan but still find good chunks of North/South interesting. Dylan brings a great lens. TK is a mainstay and a thoughtful narrator to Bay Area Sports. It’s no coincidence that he’s the local journalist that gets Kerr, Dunleavy, Shanahan, Lynch and Lacob to join and do solo pods. He has the respect of the folks that are leading and the bay’s sports scene. Barrows has been one of the best beat writers in the business for a long time. How many best writers are also novelists? Grateful to have them to read and listen to. I love outside the Bay now and they’ve been an integral part maintaining my connection to the Bay.

Great listen, great questions. Tim is the best in the Bay Area for perspective, and he already asks smart people smart questions. A must listen for Bay Area sports fans!

Is an ok show, worth a listen if it intersects with your interests. A fun drinking game and you can do this with all Kawakami podcasts- take a shot every time TK says he is being ‘aggregated’ or someone is going to get ‘mad’ about something- usually relatively mild or innocuous- he has said. You will be plastered by end of the podcast! 🤣🤪 Warning though- don’t play this game with 2-3 TK podcasts in a row- you could end up in the hospital!🤣🤣🤣

Could be a great pod, Barrows is solid and good insider info on occasion. However the host can't get out of his own way and loves the sound of his own voice for my taste.
