'The Coming Decentralization' pulled together all the ways we can choose to not participate in the controlled chaos playing out today. I listened to it again hiking this morning because Jack' 15 years of organizing everything from home schooling to successful home farming and building an energy-free home made me feel free and hopeful. Won't happen here in So. California but the plan has been made! What a useful show.

I’ve listened to Jack’s show for a few years now. Discovered it when he was interviewed on Radical Personal Finance. I’ve found so many nuggets of wisdom to improve my life. He brings on other interesting people who also think outside the box and are making things happen in their lives I’d highly recommend you give it a try.

I finally unfollowed The Survival Podcast after listening for 14 years. There used to be a lot of shows about permaculture, homesteading, and actual survival skills. Now, there are more and more “current events” shows, and they all turn into unhinged MAGA rants. He bashes politicians that he does not agree with, but instantly loses credibility when he mispronounces their names. How can you claim to know enough about someone when you won’t even take the time to learn their names? It just comes off as ignorant, racist, and closed-minded. He is always peddling his AI-generated books and courses, when he has taken people for a ride before, with his gold coins (TSP Mint) and permaculture courses (Permaethos). I my opinion, he is just out for your money. There used to be a lot of great information, but now there are better resources out there.

This podcast is full of a lot diverse and useful knowledge. I personally have learned and used some of the information you can get from listening. The caveat is that a lot of opinions Jack has can be either dated or wrong. Don’t get me wrong, he is also spot on about a number of subjects and topics. The long short of it is to take it all with a grain of salt
