What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

A great primer for smarty-pants. James isn’t afraid to get technical. This is nice when so many podcasts are aggressively broad.

Grambo++ · Aug 2026

I felt compelled to give a review of this channel and the podcasts I have been listening to. I am a Biology/Zoology teacher listening in order to fills gaps in knowledge and grow as a thinker. This podcast has been a blessing to me. Many concepts and ideas are being clarified and every podcast I have listened to on this channel has been time well spent. Sometimes you just need to hear someone else articulate the concepts. I am thankful for these podcasts and consider the host as a professor in my school of thought. Please keep making podcasts and know that they are appreciated. Adam

I love the podcast format but have been looking for more technical material. James podcast has been incredible for me. Not only does he explain things to the level you would expect in a university course, he does so with incredible skill. His teaching style is remarkably effective. No matter how familiar I am with a topic his explanations leave me with a deeper understanding. I am currently studying for the MCAT and this podcast has been a legitimate resource. He actually covers all the major topics on the MCAT. Cannot say enough great things about this podcast. If you are often unsatisfied by the rigor of scientific podcasts, you will be satisfied with this.

Absolutely phenomenal content and I really like to listen to this and learn as I’m drifting off to sleep. That’s not a bad thing. I’m telling you this podcast is a really good. James is extremely smart and is providing a service to society with this.
