This podcast always has great stories! Nic delivers the stories very well and the appreciation he shows to listeners is so kind. For all these reasons and more, I will always keep listening! Thank you for a great show!!
Such a fun podcast. I love the simplicity and the stories people share. Nick’s voice is so lovely as a storyteller. I often listen while I’m getting ready or doing dishes. (My only gripe is how much he butchers the pronunciation of Spanish words like Abuela and Dia de los Muertos. It’s like nails on a chalkboard when he says them. I’d love him to learn how to say them on Google, even if it’s not perfect. Sorry, Nick, but it honestly disrupts the story and does a disservice to the story’s owner. Still appreciate you though!)
I believe in the paranormal and I had experiences but I don’t really think it really counts. Listening to this podcast lets me learn about other people’s experience. The way Nic tells the stories over listeners embraces me with warmth on a lonely night. I have been listening to this podcast since January and so absolutely love it. Keep going Nic.
I like the Host’s voice, very clear and the shows have been mastered for volume leveling so I don’t have to strain to hear. plus those papers being shuffled 😉
This sounds like a high school kid rush reading a paper out loud. No inflection or change in tone through the monotone readings. It is so difficult to listen to this. These stories would be wonderful if people who provided the stories told the stories themselves—or the reader slowed down and incorporated some inflection and appropriate tone to the stories. Instead it sounds like he is reading off recipes off the back of a box of something. I really hope this review is taken as constructive criticism—-it could be a really good show.
