Had to stop listening for a while after the loss of Jerry but I know that is the last thing in the world he would have wanted. He would still be making episodes from heaven if he could but so happy his angel on earth Tracy is keeping it going. And thankful to have had the chance to see a live show in Detroit of all places. My hubby always says no one tells a story like Jerry. One of our favorite memories was this live show and meeting them. Such amazing people and I’m happy to say I’m listening all over again. Their podcast is the perfect balance of horror and humor.

Love the format with lots of fun and creepy elements. There are some I just plain couldn’t listen to all of because they creeped me out too much-specifically the possession episode, it scared my pants off-and I’m not easily scared. LOVE IT! I have been listening to Hillbilly Horror Stories for about 6 months now and I love listening to this podcast! I appreciate that there is so many episodes to listen to, which offer a great variety of stories.

First of all, my sincere condolences for Tracy & the family. 🙏 ❤️ I just listened to the tribute episode for Jerry on the Middle Aged And Creeped Out podcast. So this is pretty much copy & paste of what I wrote there. What an honor it must have been to know him & Tracy. Those two are a special kind of human. Sadly, there aren’t enough like them & losing Jerry really does make this world a little less kind. It was definitely a better place while he was in it. I started listening to their podcast just around the time he had his initial heart issue. So probably roughly two years. I was hooked from the first episode & I must say… it didn’t take me long to run through every single episode. He even read one of my stories. It was such a joy hearing the banter between Jerry & Tracy. You could just feel the love between them & the genuine care & support…WoW! Just the selflessness for others that they had… most people dont even have with their family & friends, much less total strangers. Simply amazing & that my friend, is what you call doing “Gods work.” ❤️ I did read his book & thoroughly enjoyed it. Through the podcast & his book, I felt them to be friends, like countless others. That’s probably the sentiment across the board but it takes a special kind to reach out & touch so many people in the way he has & it’s quite the legacy, if you ask me. So to close this long winded message I just want to say that Jerry had such an impact on so many lives. Including my own. I think maybe that’s what this life is about… the kindness, the selflessness, the smiles, laughs & memories we leave behind that matters. Not the money, fortune or fame but the meaningful stuff. The messy stuff. The real stuff. Jerry & Tracy both deserve the moon & Im pretty sure he hung hers. ❤️ So with that, I’ll close. Rest easy, Jerry. You certainly left your mark! You won’t be forgotten, & because of you & Tracy, many will carry on the goodness you left behind in this world. Thank you for the laughs, Jerry.
