by Sasquatch Chronicles - Bigfoot Encounters
Some encounters change the way you see the world. Since 2013, Sasquatch Chronicles has given a voice to the people who have experienced something they cannot easily explain. What began as a place for ordinary people to tell their Sasquatch encounters has grown into one of the longest-running and most prolific podcasts dedicated to eyewitness accounts of Bigfoot and the unexplained. Here, witnesses (not experts, agendas, or preconceived conclusions) take center stage. Every week, host Wes Germer sits down with eyewitnesses, researchers, investigators, and others who have ventured into the mystery surrounding Sasquatch. These are firsthand accounts of encounters in the forests, mountains, backyards, and remote places where people have come face-to-face with something they never expected to see. Some stories are frightening. Some are fascinating. Some are difficult to explain. And some leave even the witness questioning what they thought was possible. From recent sightings and historic encounters to strange sounds, unexplained activity, evidence, research, and the latest developments in the world of Sasquatch, Sasquatch Chronicles explores the mystery through the voices of the people who experienced it for themselves. Join us every Sunday on our website or the podcast player of your choice as we chronicle the mystery of Sasquatch. Thank you for sharing our stories and giving us a voice! I run and work a cattle ranch in Alaska and your show gives me hours of entertainment while I’m deep in the woods cleaning fence line, or going in big circles on hay fields.
I’ve been listening since 2022. I believed in Bigfoot before, but this show solidifies it for me. Some of my favorite memories with my mom is listening to this podcast in the car. Every time we’re together we listen to some episodes. I’m studying for the bar right now and listening to this podcast after a 10 hour study day is such a good way to decompress.
Given the hundreds of firsthand accounts chronicled here, it’s impossible to conclude all of these people are delusional or lying for the hell of it. We may have different ideas of what Bigfoot actually is, but no doubt they’re here. Thanks to Wes for providing a platform to let individuals share their encounters.
Wes is easily able to be relatable with his guests, as a witness himself, which makes him an exceptional interviewer. He isn’t in a hurry and makes people seem at ease. He’s an Everyman sort of guy, and not a showman. I find this pod to be the most candid and engaging about Squatch, and draws me in instead of trying to be sensational.
If I’m being honest, this podcast has become incredibly mid, to the point where I don’t even listen to the newest episodes anymore. If you want a good podcast about actual Bigfoot encounters, I would suggest only listening to his episodes from 2023 and older. Wes’ newer stuff is barely about Bigfoot anymore, and his content just isn’t as high quality or interesting as it used to be…
