I’ve had the privilege to be informed by this man who I know tells his truths and opinions. Always worth the listen, thanks Dr Savage.

I've been listening to Dr. Savage on and off for almost his entire broadcasting career. The reason I say "off" is only due to his programming timeslot and station being shifted - sometimes with warning, many times not. The internet 20 yrs ago was also not the same as the internet of today so it was much more difficult to find him whenever he "disappeared" from the airwaves I was listening to. Although I'm only old enough to be his daughter, his style of speaking and point of view resonates with me. Maybe it's because I'm from the same place that he's from (east coast USA - NYC tri-state area) so I can appreciate his direct style. Some feel this approach is irritating at least, and offensive at most, but the life experience and acquired knowledge of this human being is something most of us will never truly be able to appreciate. The best we can and should do is forgive his brusque delivery and listen more deeply because there is an important message inside the bottle. What we can learn and take away is up to us. Know your history, learn from it, do better next time, and carry on with your life. It's only a short time that we are here.
