Explains complicated science concepts in a clear, engaging manner. I never knew worm memory could be so interesting!
A simplified and informative science podcast that finds common ground between the academic scientist and the common man/woman.
This is a really fun science podcast with interesting content and very good writing. Presented in a concise style without excessive fluff and detail. Very good variety of clips from experts mixed with the narration. Love it overall. The only complaint I have is that they really need better audio equipment. Listening to this podcast immediately after any other makes for a jarring transition to pinched, muffled voice recording audio.
Quanta is well-written and serious-minded for those looking for stimulating and thorough science content, focused primarily on fascinating questions and developments in the sciences, including physics, cosmology, mathematics . I play and replay episodes all night, even while I sleep. Exquisite and relaxing, but I’m weird
I ordinarily love this podcast and have previously written great reviews. I particularly enjoy the format of discussions with the various editors who are well informed and engaging. Hence my extreme disappointment with this latest episode which was apparently an AI generated reading of the article that I’d already read in the online magazine version of Quanta. I respectfully ask that you not mix these AI generated readings with the interview formatted episodes.
