Researchers at Harvard, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and Columbia are bringing practices like reiki, qigong, and other biofield therapies into the lab like never before, testing and quantifying what has often been considered unmeasurable and unproven. And the results could be showing us the way to the next frontier in healing. Phenomena: The Science and Stories of Energy Healing is a documentary-style podcast hosted by business leader and artist Ivy Ross. Join Ivy as she explores astonishing new science alongside moving human stories of healing from chronic pain, PTSD, and even cancer through ancient practices modern medicine has often dismissed. Illuminating podcast on the science and practice of the energy we share and the hope it offers in healing our minds and bodies.
This is one of the most fascinating podcasts I’ve listened to in a long time. Between the host, the guests, and the scientists, I’m amazed by how much information and research is actually out there about energy and energy healing. I’m so happy to see people studying these topics, and I especially enjoyed learning about the idea that breathing may be one of the ways energy can be transferred from one human to another. It’s fascinating to see these subjects being explored from a scientific perspective. I really hope this podcast continues for a very long time. I feel like we’re just getting started in understanding this information, and I can’t wait to hear more!
I have always instinctively knew and understood the benefits of energy healing from Accupuncture to Reiki. But this series is diving deep into the current science from well-known doctors, institutions and practitioners. They are doing important work to highlight the benefits of this modality! Thank you for giving PROOF to what I always felt TRUE!
I enjoyed the personal stories, the presentation of the research/data, and the conversational segment that synthesizes it all. What a great way to spend my commute to work! I’m learning a lot and feeling optimistic.
First off, I really wanted to like this pod at but the host doesn't enunciate very well which makes it hard to listen. Almost like she has something in her cheeks or mouth. Secondly, if you can't stand how Mayim Bialik speaks, you will also not enjoy the chats with Meredith who comes across aggressively know-it-ally but speaks in circles. She could get her point across in one sentence but uses six instead. Third, Meredith claims that biopsies can promote spontaneous healing? What?? There was a other thing she misspoke on but I Just can't listen to it again. The topic is fascinating and energy healing, when done right, should absolutely be used in hospitals and really every situation (and should be covered by insurance!). Hopefully other like who liked this can spread the word to doctors and clinicians. As for the pod, please focus more on the studies and data instead of opinions and drawn out conversations.
