I was planning to listen for 20 minutes and then go get myself another cup of coffee, but I found myself unable to get up until I had experienced the whole conversation. It is a beautiful poetic expression of Black American life. Thank you!

I love listening to this podcast on the subway omw to work. Sometimes before bed. I love listening to poets reading their own words + their rhythms and hear what others felt. It inspires me to feel big and keep writing.
This podcast is very interesting. Hosts introduce listeners to poets both new to the magazine as well as more familiar names. Some insightful discussions about the poetry and writings in the current issue of the magazine. Reminds me of classroom discussions of poems read. It inevitably leads to a greater experience and understanding of styles, techniques and voices. It prompts me to feel inspired and leads to a feeling that I want to write more .
