The Losers' Club: A Stephen King Podcast

I love The Loser's Club, but there are two persistent elements that can make episodes hard to get through. The first is that one of the fellas on the program clicks/smacks his tongue all the time, something that could be edited out during episode polish, but that goes ignored and makes listening to many episodes unpleasant. The second is the constant presence of the filler term "you know" that most episodes are littered with. My only notes on what is otherwise a wonderful podcast. And two that can easily be dealt with.

I have been listening to the loser’s club for over a year now. As a constant reader, this podcast is just perfect. Aside from the great analysis of King’s work, the banter and format of the show is great. I feel like I’m friends with all of you, which is quite wild considering it’s a podcast😂 please keep it up loser’s club❤️

So glad I discovered the show after reading Under the Dome. When it ended, I needed more, and found this show. I loved it so much that I'm now rereading SK books. I'd never reread a book until this podcast, and now I look forward to the hosts' detailed discussion of the book!

I look so forward to tuning in each week to the losers club and gathering with my fellow King aficionados and weirdos of the world. It gives me a very wonderful sense of community and camaraderie in this very lonely world. Thank you

On the Hollywood King episode from 5/30/25, one of the inconsiderate hosts just blatantly tells you the nickname of the killer from Never Flinch (completely without warning). It’s enough to make me unsubscribe from this so-so podcast. The show in general is good for getting some King FYI nuggets, even if the hosts’ personalities are lacking/boring. They will also spoil movies and books with utter abandon at times, so make sure you don’t listen if you haven’t already seen or read whatever the topic is.

Love you guys and the pod, and I’m a longtime listener, but sometimes the 15 minute tangents you go off on about SK’s political social media posts make you sound more like grumpy old men than you realize. You spend so much time talking about how much you hate hearing about Trump, and yet you go on and on; scoffs, harrumphs, and all. Your lack of self-awareness of all this makes the irony really enjoyable.
