One of my can’t-miss podcasts every week. Dan, Stewart, and Elliott are smart, funny, and knowledgeable about movies. That they’ve focused their attention on (principally) pretty bad movies gives them license to discuss—with real insight—why movies fall short. Bit all three of them are very funny, and they approach their reactions to the movie with humor at the front of their minds. So you’ll find yourself laughing out loud, week after week. Enjoy.

The original peaches tie together pop-culture, a deep and weird love of movies, appreciation and criticism, jokes, bits, characters, xoxo Nick Cage, theme months, songs, and laughs galore together in the hunt for the eternal rainbow unicorn that is the “Good Bad Movie”.
I have been listening to the flophouse for 11ish years. This podcast has been there mixing silly, thoughtful, and stupid in the right portions long before me joining in. This is my A#1 podcast and the only podcast I have ever put in the effort to go see live. It helps me get through every week.
Last but not least, their recommendations are incredible! Dan loves horny dad movies, Elliot loves film-aficionado dad movies, and Stu loves movies where there exists the possibility a ding-dong gets ripped off.

I found The Flop House six or seven years ago and it’s maintained its status as my favorite podcast since. Early episodes, current episodes and minis, it’s all great stuff. Seeing the peaches live in SF earlier this year was a special treat. If you have any interest in humor, give it a listen.

I’m pretty new to listening to this podcast, but I’ve been listening to a couple episodes a day for weeks, and I really really enjoy it! I like the goofs, but I also really like the moments of vulnerability, and it’s just fun to listen to these three pal around and talk about movies. My only minor quibble is always wanting to hear more about Dan's cats! (And I'll say it, I like Elliott's voice, so there.)
