Joel Waldman and his amazing mother Karmela are one of the best podcast duos I’ve ever encountered. The amazing guests, the excellent topics, Joel’s wit and humor, the humanness of both of them, the COE (Chief of Everything) who makes everything work, the overarching kindness and goodness that permeates their show, the way they never fail to remember the victims…I could go on and on. I look so forward to their shows. I also happen to know that they are all awesome in person. Thank you for all you do.

These are so good I usually listen to each of them two or three times! Joel is a master at his craft as he guides his guests through all the important questions and most interesting details of topics. Joel is warm and genuine. His relationships with COE and Karm are endearing and his guests really *are* the best! My favs are Tim & Jo, but all of them are winners. Joel has the perfect personality for this format and adds just enough personal tidbits to allow his listeners to feel we are all friends. How do I get invited to Tim’s Christmas party?

Discovered STS during the Addelson trial. Then to my great surprise, discovered the host is Joel Waldman. As a Waldman myself and having an uncle named, Joel Waldman, I was immediately hooked.
Learning of Karm’s story further asserted my love for this show. Her advocacy is one of strength. Joel working with his mother and sharing her story is quite honorable.
I enjoy the laughs, sarcasm, and even the mild manner complaining. I find it all to be relatable. And of course, they truly do have the best guests!

I used to love this show for true crime interviews and guests. Now you have to fast forward through the first 10 mins to avoid the host complaining about his life, his wife, COVID, he’s so tired, he has a headache and on and on. His guests even try to distract him so they are aware also. I can’t do it anymore, sorry.
