Stephen A. Smith is a truth teller. Over the years of watching him on First Take and now listening on podcasts he’s always attacked the uncomfortable topics with a fearlessness and tenacity that sometimes leaves me in awe. Race and bias, though uncomfortable to talk about; especially when your own tribe might be on the wrong side of what is fair, is never an easy topic of discussion and takes an exceptional journalistic gladiator to attack…. Stephen A. Smith is one of far too few. By the way: I’m a black man that lives a very common black existence.

I’m a 73yr woman living in the Bay Area, Ca. Discovered your pod a few yrs ago and look forward to hearing them for the latest update on everything . Your take on politics, sports, pop culture and most everything else is spot on. Love the variety of interviews you have, cornel west etc. No one on radio can match your unique talent . Mostly listen for the politics tho. Refreshing to here a voice that’s not afraid of speaking truth. Barbara R.

SAS is one of the most entertaining people in sports media. Love his takes and appreciate the passion and humor. I may not agree with everything he says but I enjoy listening and learning.

I used to love the Stephen A. Smith podcast. It was one of my go-to listens for insightful commentary and engaging discussions. The episodes were full of energy and offered a deep dive into sports and culture that kept me coming back for more. Unfortunately, the podcast has taken a disappointing turn recently. The content has shifted to short clips that are often loaded with ads, making it difficult to enjoy the show as I once did. It’s sad to say, but I’ve since unsubscribed. It’s disheartening to see such a great podcast lose its appeal.

Podcasters talking dead quiet to the point where you can’t hear them is a huge letdown especially if you wanna hear what they have to say. It makes it worse if they suddenly yell and blow out your ears. No matter how good the podcast is, if it’s frustratingly quiet, it’s a 1 star. If this gets fixed, this show is EASILY 5 stars
