I’m only now watching the LIB episodes and I am thoroughly enjoying listening to the recaps after each. It’s so refreshing to find straight guys who can criticize garbage humans regardless of gender. I’ve abandoned so many podcasts because of a bro-ey attitude, but these guys cheerfully poke fun at everyone roast-worthy without malice. It’s all in good fun and with enjoyment of the genre. Women can listen without cringe, which is saying an awful lot. Thanks for the giggles!

I LOVE this podcast! I can’t listen to this podcast before sleep anymore, because I wind up laughing so hard, my husband wakes up thinking I’m crying! All the season reviews have been so funny and I honestly look forward to listening to this podcast over the actual show! Fun fact: I actually only watched Perfect Match because I wanted to laugh along with them and be part of their jokes. I mean, if that doesn’t say it all, I don’t know what does!

It’s been almost a year since Max has stolen this pod from his co host Ben. So far zero accountability, zero apologies and zero explanations to their listeners. Instead, he’s blocked and shadow banned everyone who asks about it. This show has gone downhill and it’s become a hollow shell of what it used to be when the show had actual chemistry between hosts. Max doesn’t even offer bonus content on their patron anymore. What’s the point of even subscribing? It’s obvious that the heart of this show has been removed. I really hope Max can find his way to accountability and making things right with Ben.

I recently went back and listened to old episodes recapping too hot to handle and the difference between those episodes and recent ones was stark. It’s no longer a fun-loving conversation, often bringing up other seasons or reality shows. Instead I find myself cringing at what Max and guests say as often as I do the shows they’re recapping. Max no longer does much of the sound board which was always a fun bit. The show is seriously missing Ben and his counter balance to Max going over the top. Max made a huge mistake kicking Ben off the show. The podcast has lost its spark and I will be unfollowing and not listening to future episodes. I stopped midway through the LIB finale and just couldn’t stomach it anymore.
