Great topic but hard to listen to because the audio level of the narrator voice is significantly lower than the voices of those interviewed. Listeners have to constantly increase and decrease their volume to adjust the varied audio levels.

Micheal Flaherty (Epiphany Storylab) is a master storyteller. I look forward to hearing him lay out the plot points and then lay in the details with vivid color and depth of meaning; to think through the facts of the events, the motives of its characters, and the arc of the story as we pray for justice to be served.

I was a September 11, 2001 survivor and former Secret Service Special Agent. Blackwater was a way for me to do MORE than I was capable of doing in the USSS. This Raven 23 event rattled my belief in Justice. This is a great podcast and Thank you for sharing the story!

I’ve looked up to Shawn the moment I discovered him on YouTube and the content he puts out is second to none, from the education regarding firearms to the in depth interviews with the best guests ever. I couldn’t recommended this podcast enough. RUN9mm

So I got forwarded this podcast by a friend, but it seems to me that this podcast is deliberately misrepresenting and neglecting the facts of the events. For example, while we want to support the troops (though let’s be honest these men are mercenaries who for one reason or another didn’t join the military) the initial account of the events was written not by the results of an initial official investigation but by another black water mercenary within hours after the event. Additionally, military soldiers gave much different accounts then the mercenaries involved. This podcast feels less investigative and more a deliberate attempt at whitewashing.

A truly disgusting attempt to whitewash a tale of massacre into ‘the system’ being out to get ‘heroes.’ If you find this podcast anywhere near persuasive I urge you to actually look up the Nisour Square Massacre. Yes, massacre. Although throughout in the show she calls it the Nisour Square “Incident” it is both literally and nominatively a massacre in which these men killed 17 civilians, including children.
