QUESTION EVERYTHING

by iHeartPodcasts

There are celebrity interviews, and there are life-changing conversations. On Question Everything, you get both. Journalist Danielle Robay has a rare gift: she makes people feel safe + seen enough to tell the truth. Every week, she draws out the stories the world's most fascinating people rarely get to tell– the heartbreaks, the risks, the controversies, the beliefs they had to unlearn to become who they are and every now and then, their thoughts on the Bravoverse. You'll come for their story. You'll leave rethinking your own. -------- Danielle is also the creator of the bestselling QUESTION EVERYTHING card game series, which has sparked connection in thousands of living rooms around the world, and the co-executive producer and host of Bookmarked by Reese's Book Club, alongside Reese Witherspoon. Dubbed "The Queen of Questions," she brings both heart and rigor to every conversation — a background in political science, a Gloria Steinem Fellowship, and a mentorship under Larry King, whose legacy of curiosity and connection she's carried forward across more than 8,000 hours of interviews with icons from Taylor Swift to Malala Yousafzai.

What listeners say

A curated, balanced selection of Apple Podcasts reviews.

My ultimate go-to podcast. Danielle Robay has truly outdone herself, creating a continuous body of work that invites deep reflection and asks the kinds of pretty smart, pretty cool, and pretty intuitive questions that can only further your personal growth from within. From learning how to be bolder in my life with Bozoma Saint John, to embracing the hustle and going after what you want regardless of where you're from or what your background is, with Tika Sumpter. Reaffirming my love for Love itself, as the ultimate lover girl, with one of my favorite authors, Tia Williams. Confirming that everything truly begins and ends with mindset - even in the smallest daily moments through the wisdom of the mother of mindfulness, Dr. Ellen Langer. As a Philly girl myself, I connected deeply with Eve’s story…her trials, her triumphs. I’ve been practicing getting out of my head and into my heart through daily heart exercises I learned from Kimberly Snyder. The much needed episode with Ego Nwodim reminded me of the importance of listening to my intuition, something I’ve always struggled with, despite it never steering me wrong. A love letter to complicated women, Jada Pinkett Smith’s episode gave me permission to revel in being a complex, layered woman. In a society that often demands women be perfect in every way to earn respect, love, kindness, compassion, and understanding, her voice and words were a balm. And then, Ashlyn Harris. Just simply… Ashlyn Harris. That episode gave me life. As a competitive woman striving to be excellent in everything I do, with myself as my own greatest competition, her story struck a powerful chord. A woman driven to close the gaps of racial and gender inequality. A woman who should be the face of pivoting after planning. She was everything. There are parts of people that remind me of myself and then there’s Ashlyn Harris, she felt most like me. Danielle herself is one of the few journalists who consistently asks all the right questions, without ever crossing boundaries to get there. She knows what we want to hear, the answers we need, and how to follow her own pretty bold intuition to get them. Pretty Smart…Danielle and her guests make me feel pretty ready to tackle everything, one day at a time…and to question everything, one pod at a time.
