How I adore this podcast! I have learned so much about so many wonderful artists. I particularly love hearing directly from the artists themselves, about their process, their inspiration, and getting context for their many wonderful works. Katy’s enthusiasm is infectious, and her reverence for and extensive research about each artist highlighted is so appreciated. I look forward to every episode. I’d like to thank Katy in particular, for the Howardena Pindell episode. I so appreciate that she accommodated Ms. Pindell for the interview, which was fascinating and so important. Our elders are our teachers! Bravo.

Love this podcast! My only criticism would be lack of communication regarding when new episodes will be released. You announce the new season but it’s been 11 days since the first episode! Can’t wait for more! I adore Katy Hessel’s infectious enthusiasm and passion for the art and devour every single episode! It’s opened up a whole new world to me of artists I never knew before and even the world of curators and historians, and how we think and talk about art. Love it so much!!! Can’t wait for every new episode! Thank you so much Katy! Your podcast has literally changed my life.
