I’m not usually a super tech person, but this is such a fun and smart podcast! Mark’s love of gadgets is infectious and the conversations are a total delight. Excited to tune in for the folding phone!
Mark is one of the best at breaking Apple news, so I’m excited to hear directly from him in this podcast. That said, early in, it’s a little disappointing because it seems they have not found their rhythm yet. There are too many ads and the dialog just seems a bit awkward. I’m sure it will get better over time.
It’s the best tech podcast in a long while, but it’s mired with a load of ads. What a horrible way to listen to a podcast. I’d be willing to pay to hear it ad-free.
First episode included 4 two-minute ad breaks repeating the same ads. Quite a large amount for such a short show. Most of the show was taken by Mark being salty about influencers going to Apple events vs “journalists”. Co-host was just there to set up softball questions for Mark.
This is one of those podcasts where the content is good, but it’s infested with advertisements placed all over the episode. In the beginning, and several points midway through. Such a shame because Gurman usually has the inside line on a lot of future Apple products.
