Jon Krohn’s Super Data Science podcast is a fantastic way to keep up with the world of AI and the people who work in the industry. His guests are spot on and always interesting. Fun bonus comment - I came across John’s work on YouTube as well where he has a course on calculus. Since I’m taking a DS course right now I needed to brush up on the math.
I’ve been listening to SDS for a couple of years now and the content is always fascinating. Sometimes a bit over my head, but you can bet I am looking up the information and learning with every episode. Love the site as well, keep up the great work!
SDS is one of my few must-listen podcasts! Engaging, interesting, entertaining and useful for people at all levels of the data science and technology spectrum. Early in episode 845, you referenced the movie, “The Town” in your conversation with Cambridge, MA-based Greg Epstein. The Town which takes place in Boston, primarily Charlestown, is based on the book “Prince of Thieves” by Chuck Hogan who wrote the book after learning this data point: Charlestown, MA has produced more bank and armored car robbers in that one square mile (Charlestown) than anywhere else in the world (circa 2000). Great movie!
I have been a fan of Jon Krone for maybe a decade. I own many of his Udemy courses which are excellent. Many of his episodes are must hear for people interested in ML, data science and AI
